DH and I went to the parade because DD had her debut as jr. drum major today! Having some family over for hot dogs & hamburgers in a little while and then tonite DD and I go to help decorate for Sr. Band Banquet which is tomorrow evening.

The rain has cleared up for now so I'll try to work around the house & garden again.

We are going to see the 1/2 scale replica of the Vietnam War Memorial that travels around the country. There are actually two of these and one is in a nearby town for one week.

We have been to DC to see the real Wall, and expect this to be the same kind of moving experience.

DH and I are both getting over being sick (colds that went into broncitus) so we are taking it easy. I've been spending the weeked working on the scrapbook pages from our May 10th cruise.

We finally got some rain this morning. I have done a little work for my business, DIS...might take a nap in a little bit.

Just got home from work and I am watching my Soap-All My Children.

I spent the night with my Dad because we put my Mom back in the hospital Sat. night. He really shouldn't be left alone as he tends to get disoriented at times. I needed to be there to make sure he was all right. He's here at my house now, so I could come home and get a few things done (laundry, clean the kitchen, feed the cat, etc.) then we'll go back over to the hospital to see Mom this evening. Oh, and I'm still recovering from my surgery which was last Tuesday. It's been a very stressful couple of weeks.

This morning I got to sleep until 11:30! Thankfully my husband had to get up at 9, so I was finally able to sleep in. I've been DISing, checking up on my band, watching my soaps. Now if I only had something good to eat in here!

Working...the chef and I are salaried, so we came in to keep payroll costs down -- we never get holidays!
