I’m very excited to be booking China for June 2019 for DD’s high school graduation trip. I’ve been rereading trip reports (thank you to those who have written them!) and getting excited.

Backstage Magic Round 2 in October 2019. After coming home and raving about it my Step-Father wanted to go so badly my Mom and I jumped at the chance to go again.

We booked the Danube when it was released in February and multiple ABDs in a year is tough with a family of 5.

It is definitely pricey, and with the single supplement, it adds up quickly! But, you will have an amazing time!

Well, nothing right now...which is really hard for me. We have a South Africa trip booked with Tauck in 2019, so I can't complain. We are planning to book Southern California Short Escape for Spring 2019 but are still trying to figure out the best dates that will work for the four of us. There are no discounts on this trip, so there is no rush to book tomorrow. I am starting to look at ABD trips for 2020! LOL!

Nothing for us at the moment, we still haven't finalized what we want to do and when. I also need the Iceland trip to go really well before I can commit to another ABD. We loved our Alaska and Wyoming trips, but Iceland booking process, communication, group size, lack of a lot of other kids is all giving us a bit of apprehension so I can't work up enough enthusiasm to book another one right now. Hopefully I book another one the day we get home (that's pretty much what happened after Alaska!).

Already books the Rome short escape and will be adding on the Amalfi trip and possibly the Italy Switzerland one.

We have the same worry. So tired of paying tons of $ for DD20 to be stuck on a rollaway. But. We want to love ABD again and are hoping Iceland does it for us this summer.

We are going ahead and booking Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos ABD for Christmas 2019. Also getting cancel-for-any-reason insurance same day. If we are talking to ourselves after Iceland, that will be the reason and we’ll switch to the Tauck version of that trip.

None...sadly. DD wanted the Danube trip but the cheap rooms (since we'd be doing 1 room with 2 people and and single with another) were sold out and I couldn't justify the price. For $4K more we'll get an extra week on a Celebrity 2 week Baltics cruise for her graduation, plus DH and I are on back to back DCL cruises in July for my annibirthday. I was really hoping for something new and exciting in Europe (or New Zealand) but guess ABD's focus was on Japan. Ah well..maybe 2020 or maybe we're done with ABD. Tauck does things almost as well for less. Back to waiting for a year to see!

After the opening day frenzy dies down, we narrowed it down as a couple to Backstage Magic with Wyoming possibly for 2021.

I *might* look into a European trip as a solo (knowing about the single supplement) somewhere in between. We also want to book a cruise on the Disney Fantasy in 2019 before the new ships roll out since it's the only DCL ship on which we have not traveled. I know he would love one that had Star Wars Day at Sea.

@kristilew we just booked December 22nd, 2019 Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos and we have a DD20 going!
