i just finished reading the other post "What are we missing on Main Street" and found it interesting. Now I want to know more about the World Showcase as we normall pass by most of the countries. So what are we missing? Any hidden gems or must do's? I know about pick a pearl and my kids love to that.

We love just walking around and seeing the architecture plus going in the shops. The UK has the maze and Germany I believe has the train garden. We like the movies in France, China, and Canada and the American Adventure plus the boat ride in Mexico. Around the holidays the storytellers and CP are great.

We really enjoy the performers in each of the countries. Acrobats in China, drummers in Japan, a band in the UK and Mexico. The boat ride in Mexico is always fun. We haven't seen the movies in a while now but they were interesting for us as adults and less so for our little ones. We enjoy checking out the shops and dining on snacks from each of the countries. Depending on the time of year there can be different things going on.

Our tradition is to book Rose and Crown for dinner and enjoy listening to the British Invasion band outside while waiting to be seated.

We really enjoyed the Canada movie. We love all the treats from each country too, the pretzel in Germany, sorbet in France. We also love the singers in America. Pretty much everything is awesome in the WS! Epcot is our fave

In Germany, we really like the display of cuckoo clocks in one of the stores. We try to time our stop on the hour so some of them are going off. Plus I love the Caramel Kusche - I always buy a strawberry dipped in chocolate drizzled with caramel.

I enjoy going inside American Adventure - there is often a cool display in there and the singers are wonderful.

I love wandering into Norway - the Stave Church used to be really cool but it's still nice to go into.

And in Morocco, there is a building with displays that are really interesting. I didn't know it was there until I witnessed someone walking into it and now I go in every time.

Go towards the back of some of the countries... Italy, Morrocco. Neat stuff to find! Each country usually has a show outside that is usually pretty amazing.
Japan also has a museum. China is fun to explore and the inside of the Mexican pyramid is gorgeous and there is a ride too.

We had a great time watching the Vikings in Norway interacting with guests on our last trip. The one thing that Disney is incredible at is guest interaction, and while the Vikings are not Mickey Mouse or the Princesses they were terrific !!! So much fun everybody was really enjoying them.

The games.

agent p is always there, and if there is food booth, something is hidden around the countries. The passport for whatever event that has food will talk about what's available for that moment. I think right now with artist weekends it's hidden figments. Just adds something to help keep childrens interest and if you don't point it out too early as some are really easy to spot, you can get them to want to wander the whole country to see what's there. Easter timeframe has an egg hunt similar to the hidden things.

Depending on the ages of your children doing the Passport in all the countries can be fun.

We like Christmas and the storytellers.

My kids like doing Agent P. They like wandering the store in Mexico. They thought the display on the terra-cotta warriors in China was cool. They always play the drums in Africa. They love the store in Japan and DD goes nuts over the current Kawaii display. I like the Notre Dame display in France but they only care about the snacks!

We love the Mexico boat ride, the viking coffee and vikings in Norway, exploring the back of Morocco, the pretzels, caramel store and clocks in Germany, the show in France (whole family really enjoyed this one !) as well as sitting with a pastry in the back, the drummers, architecture and stores in Japan and the Waterfall in the back of Canada.

The Phineas and Ferb missions, definitely! My boys wanted to do it all week, but the hurricane kept messing up that plan, so finally on our (tacked on) departure day, we made it work. I told them they could do one mission and then we had to get on the road and head home. My husband got so into it, that they ended up doing 3! They are flying in to join me and my daughter on the last weekend of our Princess Trip in a few weeks and my middle son has already asked if they can do another mission :D.

I think the vikings were removed in favor of pretending Norway is Arrendelle.

Do they have passports to be stamped in each country now? I thought they were replaced with Duffy on a stick.

Our favourite thing in Epcot last visit was the drummers in Japan
