What are the waits for Star Tours 2 like now?

Now that Star Tours 2 has been open a few months, how are the waits for it now? Does half the park still rush to it and its FastPass in the morning?

I'll be doing the magic morning entry but I usually use this time for the Fantasyland rides. When's the best time to FastPass it and ride it?

The rush has calmed down a bit, but it's still a popular ride. I went a couple weeks ago on a pretty busy Friday and lines were around 30-45 min most of the time, maybe a little higher during the peak of the day. I would still recommend to FP it as soon as possible because later in the day, the FP return times will be for multiple hours out.

We were there last Thursday and walked right on during the Magic Morning entry. It was the only time we went on it. I have never been impressed with Star Tours at DLR or DHS. Maybe some day I'll want to ride it more than once a trip.

Later on our trip I saw wait times of 30 minutes tops.

How jerky is this ride? Never been on it or Captain EO, so I have nothing to compare it to, other than the Star Trek one in vegas, haha

I guess it depends on what time you go. I arrived at DL when the park opened and got on immediately. After I got off the ride I got back in line and only waited about 15 minutes. After my second ride I picked up a fast pass and I only had to wait an hour before returning.
