What are the Views Like at the Beach Club Villas?

I've recently purchased a DVC at the Beach Club Villas. I'm contemplating my first reservation there but I have some questions about the views that I would like to get answered before I book.

I understand that there is no view of Storm Along Bay, yet there is a view to the west of the villas' pool. With this view, do you also see the parking lot?

Also, what are the views like to the north and east? Are these views of Epcot? There is a road between the Beach Club Villas and Epcot, do you see and/or hear the traffic on this road?

Lastly, the view to the southwest faces the Beach Club Resort's lobby entrance. Is this so bad, or do you mostly view the gardens between the 2 buildings?

Thank you for any and all input.

Yes to all 3 of your questions:goodvibes

Some people love the E-view. The road is fairly close and you do hear it unless your unit is courtyard, then you are further back, but then the part of the bldg that is closest to the road will obstruct your view of the fireworks.

I prefer the Villa pool view You do see parking lot, but it is much quieter on that side of the building.

We stay at BCV for the location and SAB. If we want to relax on the patio and enjoy beautiful views, our choices would be SSR or AKV.

HTH!

Thank you, LIFERBABE, for the information. I certainly do appreciate it.

You mention that you stay at the Beach Club Villas for the location (I agree - You can't beat it) and SAB. I'm quite clueless though when it comes to initials: What is SAB?

We had 452 for our recent stay (Its a 2 bedroom). Spectacular view of fireworks but not so nice noise of truck backing up (BEEP BEEP BEEP) each morning around 6/7AM(trash maybe?)

Thank you everyone for the information. I was curious as to why the Beach Club Villas do not offer a standard view but I can see why: Every view, although different, is spectacular!

And that parkinfo2go website is terrific! I've saved it to my favorites and I'll be visiting it quite often. When the Holidays are through and my wife can finally relax, I'll be showing it to her and I've got a feeling that she'll find it just as terrific. Thank you DisZip, for the link.

Hi, Scott, and congrats on your purchase. BCV is a great resort, and I'm sure that you'll be very happy with it.

That said... I would caution you not to get your hopes too high where the views are concerned. While I wouldn't call the views bad, I wouldn't call them spectacular, either. We once got an Epcot view room and were very excited, until we realized that we had a much better view of the road and buffer of trees than of Epcot itself.

Disney basically shoe-horned BCV in a small section of land behind the hotel, and as a result BCV is devoid of the beautiful views that the hotel enjoys. I think your views consist mainly of the quiet pool/parking lot, a small courtyard/hotel, woods, and a limited view of Epcot/road/more woods. Try this link http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1465245, it will show you better than I could explain.

I agree with veenstra56. I think each view there has its drawbacks. But you'll be nice and close to Epcot, have a very pretty, comfortable room, and have access to SAB. When I stay there, I don't give the view any thought at all, as I don't expect a great one. (I'm not bashing, just giving MHO. And BCV is one of my "homes.")

You'll have a great time, I'm sure. :)

Congratulations on your purchase. :thumbsup2

We recently stayed in a 2 bd villa-252 which is the end unit. The view was not spectacular but we have never stayed in a quieter, more secluded location at Disney. Also, having our own little walkway right to our door was awesome.Congratulations on your purchase! :thumbsup2

This was my View everynight . How can you get any better then this.

I like the woods for when ever we stay at BCV. Nice and relaxing. :thumbsup2

I had asked a few questions a few months ago, similar to the OP's. I wanted to know what to ask for in order to request an "EPCOT view" -- I know this isn't really a category like "Boardwalk view". Anyway, most people told me to ask for a room on the "woods side" of the resort and a high (5th) floor. When I did make my reservations the CM told me "there isn't any 'woods side' at BCV, you must be thinking of VWL". Having yet to stay at BCV, I couldn't really explain what I was talking about. How do most of you phrase your requests if you want to be on the side closest to EPCOT?

When we last booked BCV, I asked the CM what I could request in addition to "top floor" to get the best chance at seeing Illuminations. She said that she'd put "wants to see Illuminations" in the notes for our reservation. I'm curious to see where we end up (assuming that they can fulfill our request).

That view is breathtaking. Can you request a view of the canal?

We requested 1st fl Closest to DSA and thats what we got. I would think Canal view could be requested .

It was a great location . Short walk to parking lot ,2 different ways to the Buses and not that bad to the BW/Epcot area.
