My brother is diabetic and went on the 10/3 cruise with us. He tried the sugar free dessert each night. I'll try to describe them, but they will sound much worse than they were. The dessert on Thursday night in Tritons was a white rounded gelatin like substance scattered with fresh berries. Brother rated it thumbs up, and noted that it tasted much better than it looked. Friday night we were in Animators. The dessert looked and tasted much like sugar free strawberry jello--lukewarm response by brother. At the welcome aboard luncheon, he had a slice of cake with a raspberry filling. DM and DH had tried this earlier, and commented that it wasn't as good as it looked, but at the time, they didn't realize that it was sugar-free. Brother ate it and thought it was really good. (perspective is relative). The best sugar free dessert was at Palo on Saturday night--again it was white gelatin, but brother gave it high marks. I don't know what substance they use, but bet they would be willing to work with you. I noticed the CMs fixing several special orders for dietary needs.
