What are the sizes a photo can be again? Not in the sig.

Trying to find how large a pic can be in a post (not the small sig ones).

Seems like it was a certain ht, width and maybe pixels size?

Can high quality pics be made larger and have the quality reduced somehow?

They do not have a limit on post picture size, however, it is generally thought that a size of about 600 by 450 is about best maximum size for easy of viewing on most monitors. And yes to your second question, with photo edit software.
