Extended evening hours in September

We have been planning our agenda based on the touring plans posted hours, and I am now getting updates that things are changing. Aren’t the extended evening hours the same days each week? Magic Kingdom is especially tricky due to all of the parties and it looks like the extended evening now isn’t happening?
I understand they are predictions, but hoping for more information about the month of September.

Right now the last EEH at MK for quite a while is September 3rd. Most projections are that EEH will move to HS the following week, and run through early Nov. Just keep checking the rumor mill but the MNSSHP schedule does impact EEH being offered at MK negatively.

I do not look at 3rd party predictions.

If you go to the app you can see park hours through September 25th and its on a 70 day rolling calendar.
From my understanding the EEH do not change once in place but park hours themselves are usually updated a few weeks out.

The official Disney calendar shows Epcot on Monday Sept 15, and DHS on Wednesday Sept 17
(The week I’ll be there).

I used the wdwmagic.com calendar to look it up. That's quicker than going through the MDE app day-by-day. It shows dates through September 26. Mondays September 1, 8, 15 and 22 are all Epcot. Wednesday September 3 is Magic Kingdom. Wednesdays September 10, 17, and 24 are all Hollywood Studios.

I'm just praying to the Disney Gods for at least one extended evening hour at Animal Kingdom that last week. It doesn't have to be open for as long as the other parks are, since it only has a few attractions open, but at least give people a chance to see Pandora in the dark. Also, I can remember about 10-15 years ago, riding the train to and from Rafiki's Planet watch in the dark (and I was the only one on the whole train, which is probably why they closed it).

My question is why is TP giving MK a crowd level 2 on Mon, Labor Day 9/1 and a crowd level of 5 on Tues 9/2 when there is a MNSSHP on Tues. Hasn't it been historically proven that crowds at MK are lower on a party day?

I'm wondering why they moved MNSSHP from labor day, when they usually have it on that Monday.

Yes but Holidays are a special case and Labor day is not a major peek attendance day due to the guests with children starting school before or right after Labor Day.

A party day is often lighter attendance than a normal park day.

Likely to get better attendance this year.

Why wouldn’t they have an extended evening hour on a non-party night? We’ve been told that those nights would be more crowded because many people don’t want to do the party so the other nights fill up more than usual. Sort of a bummer to not have MK access at night.
Thanks for the replies!

My guess is that the Starlight Parade will already draw bigger crowds in nonparty nights. I’m sure if you add in EEH, it would be even worse.

I feel your pain but it just is what it is.
They have it at AK instead of MK during my trip in a couple weeks. At this point it seems to have nothing to do with the parties since there are currently no parties and its happening.
