Wash hands, wash hands, wash hands. Do everything you can to not let her touch her eyes/face. Wipe down door knobs, handles, and anything you can thing of that she may touch that your other kids would touch.
I've had pink eye twice as an adult and neither time did DH or DD get it. The first time I got it when our cat sneezed in my face- he had a cold. The second time I got it from DD's daycare. Both time in only 1 eye. My eye felt like it had sandpaper in it. The last time my eye swole up 'drained' clear for a couple of days. I looked like a cyclops LOL. I still went to work and no one else got it. I washed my hands constantly and changed out/washed anything that came in contact with my face- pillow cases, blankets, etc. Threw out all eye makeup (although that wouldn't apply to your DD
).
Hope she is feeling better soon and no one else gets it.
