What are the showers on the Magic like?

What are the showers like on-board the Magic/Wonder? Does the water get HOT? I hate to take a lukewarm shower.

Is there good flow through the shower head (or do they use those awful water saving shower heads)?

I travel a lot, and often bring my own shower head for hotel showers - Has anyone done that on this cruise?

Interestingly, there seems to be a wide variance. We've stayed in many staterooms on both ships, and the water pressure has ranged from trickling to powerdul (although they are water-saver heads...the head is mounted on a flexible hose so you can take it out of the holder to spray your body). Usually there is enough hot water, but at popular shower times (like when everyone is returning from Castaway Cay), it can get COLD!

I was pleasantly surprised with the water temperature and water pressure, both good. But my son couldn't stand straight up in the shower, he's 6'6". My husband is 6'4" and was just barely able to fit.

The showers at the spa are much roomier and more powerful.

It also helps before dinner when everyone is getting ready. My DS and children use the shower in the cabin and I head up to the spa. Helps reduces the amount of time it takes all of us to get ready for dinner.

We have always found the showers in the cabin to be both powerful and have enough water...it always amazed me how when that many people are showering at the same time that they can still maintain great water pressure.

I have also done as Irish Cowboy has suggested.....taken my shower up in the spa when the other 4 people in our family were vying for the shower in the cabin!!!
