Can anyone tell me what the rental strollers are like? Are they readily available? Do they recline for naps? I'm trying to decide how much to drag along on the airplane with 2 small kiddos, carseats, carryons... We'll bring one stroller for our 18-month-old, but our 3-year-old may or may not want to ride in a stroller. If the Disney ones are nice, maybe we won't need to drag 2 strollers through the airports. Thanks.

The rental strollers vary a little at each park in color and material. The do not recline. If you get a double stroller then both children will be side by side and not one in front and one in the back. They have a covering on top for shade . They are very easyily ready at the entrance to each park. Also if you pay for a stroller and hop to another park then you just take your receipt and pick up another stroller at the new park with no additional charge. I think it is about 14 or so for a double and you get a disney doller back when you return the stroller.I would recomend renting because besides the fact of dragginf them on the plane you also have to fold up the stroller on the trams so for me that would be a huge hassle to have to fold up to strollers and take the kids out and then open thme back up etc.

Except Epcot it seemed like they were all that hard plastic. No reclining or even soft seat. I personanly never found it hard to bring the stoller on the plane in fact it was so easy to roll it down the thing you walk down to get on the plan and fold it at the end of there before loading the plane. Then when you get off its in the same spot but only at the new airport, lol

We was able to leave it up for some of our bus rides and monorail rides too. If it was crowded we prefered to fold it so more people would not be inconvienced. But most of the time we left it up.

Another plus. My grandaughter took a nap reclined in her stroller in Epcot. We had a stroller fan clipped on it and she was cool and cozy.

I liked having my own stroller. In the airport we used it to keep the kids in "one place" as it is very hard to deal with luggage and chase two very active boys! Using the gate check was a breeze too and it was right there when we got off the plane! We left it up and the boys in it for the monorail ride (ours is one behind the other). Both seats recline (the back one goes flat) for those little nap times. And although we would have had to fold it for the parking lot tram ride, my DH is a smoker and while the boys and I got to "ride the tram" (one of their favorite experiences !!) he just walked and smoked to the car and then he was all set for driving in the smoke free rental car! Oh, and our DS's were 4 and 2 last fall when we were in WDW.
