What are the passport books you buy for Epcot?

They can get them stamped. They are cute, but pricey ($10, I think?). I considered getting one for DD7 to make the WS more exciting for her (DH and I love to spend evenings there, but it can be boring for kids). I didn't get one, because the Kidcot Funstops do the same thing. The masks that they had (I don't know if it changes - we were there in January) were bulky to carry around, but the kids color them, get a stamp on the stick, and a little cutout tied to the mask. When they collect one stamp and cutout from each country, they get a picture. My DD7 likes a goal, so she enjoyed this.

Does that answer your question?

I've heard about these and that they can get them stamped at the world showcase like a real passport. I think it sounds kinda cool. I guess you can buy them at the parks, someone suggested ebay to me but I've only found the passport holders there. I'd like to see some responses from people that have actually used them ;)

We got them for our girls on our last trip because those masks can become a pain in the butt.

We bought them right at the beginning of the WS in that little store, sat down and put all the stickers in so when we started the WS we were good to go--Each country we went to stamped the book and wrote something inside in their language

The girls loved it and asked if they could do it again next time.

Is there anywhere to buy these ahead of time? I am making a gift basket for DS and would love to have this in there.

At the kidcot stops where you make the masks are where you get the passports stamped. The guides will stamp it like a passoprt (with a different stamp than is on the mask) and then write something in their native language and are happy to translate for the kids. They are $10 and we use our disney reward dollars for this as it is an extra. The book also comes with a pin with the flags from around the world on it and also stickers for each page (tip if you go in the summer, don't put the stickers on unti lyou ge thome The humidity can make them peel off) this makes for a great kids activity while the adults are enjoying the atmosphere and their adult beverages. It also allows you to see more of the countries because the stops are usually towards the back of each country.
Also, don't forget the 4 stops in future world where the kids can make a lanyard with a different totem for each stop. These are good 'break' areas.

befor i went to the world, i decided to make my own with blank pages for each country so that each country could sign and stamp each page(all had own page)
i made a mistake as most of the stamps had red ink and i had made red inserts for my passport books...the cast members would have been more than happy to do this had the pages and ink not been the same colour....hope this helps

I preordered a passport at laughingplace.com -- they have a good selection of park merchandise. It's worked well to get my DD4 excited about the concept of Epcot's WS. Also bought a magnet MK playset for the drive down.

How much is the passport at Epcot. Laughing place has it at $15.93. Thanks.

at Living Seas and they just attached each thing from the country to that and had them stamp directly on the ornament things. That way the kids had them around their necks AND it was free.

can anyone list for me the 4 locations in future world? I do not know how I've missed out on those all these years. We always do the mask and my kids love them. Older daughter this year might like passport book better though.

Does anyone know, definitively what these cost on site? The two websites mentioned above were very pricey ($22.75 discounted to $15.93 at the laughingplace and $14.50 at gifts of a lifetime). It would be nice to have them when we walk in the gates, but if they are only $10 there, that is a high price to pay (I am buying a total of 5) for convenience.

What does the inside of the Passport look like? I'm wondering if I can make one for my kids. Does anything else come with the Passport, or is it just a little booklet with blank pages?

from what I can see on the two sites laughing place and gifts of a lifetime, they come with stickers and some collectible pins. I have read you should wait until you get home to apply the stickers because the FL humidity will make them lift while you are there.

My kids had the best time doing these. for 2 Disney trips they made the masks and I wanteds to find something different to do with them. They followed the maps to the "kidstops" and had the cm's there sign and stamp there books. They ended getting the symbols that attach to the masks but had so much fun talking to the cms and learning about their countries it was fun!

My BF and I are planning on buying a passport to get stamped around WS ...

Note: He is 29 and I am 25 :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Our passports last time were $9.95 plus tax. The four places in FW were in innovations east, test track, seas with nemo & friends, and the land - they were marked on the map with the K like in WS

Oh, and the pin is not like a pin trading pin, just read that a couple posters back, it is a big pin (like the kind you get when your kids are in sports with their picture) and it has all of the countries flags on it and EPCOT and there are multiple stickers per country that you should definitely wait until you get home to put on! It is really a fun thing to do for kids and adults!
