Going to book as soon as my resale goes thru..which should be around early/mid April. I will be about 45 days out...so will I have any chance of booking the week of Memorial day? I will have 109 2013 points expiring May 31..so I would really like to use them and not loose them. So I'm not picky any room, any resort, around the 109 will work!

It's still two months away and a lot can happen, but you'll typically see availability at OKW or SSR or AKV, depending on room type. You'll also see scattered availability at other resorts. it's really tough to say. And throw Poly into the mix and who knows what will happen with availability. Be prepared to lose some points or borrow from your 2015 allotment in case you have to book a pricier room.

60 days prior to any given date, revenue accounting can transfer DVC room inventory to Disney for cash reservations. Once transferred, it usually isn't made available again on demand for DVC.

We are going to Disney that week and I have been checking availability multiple times of day to try and change our DVC resort. The only resorts with constant availability for the week are SSR and OKW, and it is usually the 1 bedroom and larger villas. Everyone seems to be waiting to see if the MK has the 24 hour event again this year as the 24th of May is unavailable at most resorts.

If I were you, I would figure out how many points the 1 bedrooms at SSR and OKW are and plan my points accordingly.

Agree that if anything is available, it will be a 1-bedroom at SSR. If THAT isn't available, nothing is.

So, you should check the point charts and see what you can get with your points at SSR in a 1-bedroom. Probably 3 nights.

As of now OKW has fri-tues of Memorial Day weekend in 1&2BR, SSR has the same dates in all categories. Crossing my fingers for you that there is still availability in April!

Thank you I know I still have a while but that really gives me hope...SSR is our "home" and would love to give them a try!
