What are the odds?

We have a reservation for 9/22-9/28 with free dining at CSR. I would like to add one more day to the 29th, but there are no longer any standard rooms available for that day. What are the odds of a standard room coming available around or before the 45 day mark?

I realize I can do a room only, and may book one at AOA, but would like to just stay in one place and still have free dining. Versus moving and not having dining for the day, and I do realize AOA would be cheaper, so we would be spending less even with pay for meals OOP. But the convenience of not moving and having the DDP are worth it to me.

Also, if it does come available, but is after the 45 day mark are they going to charge me to add a day? Thanks for the input!

I would expect your odds are pretty decent. At the 45 day mark when package $$ is due, there tends to be a higher number of cancelations. I wouldn't think they would charge the change fee for adding a day, but someone else on this board may know more about that aspect.

NM just called again and asked for guest relations. They were able to get me a standard room for the one day for $212, vs the $400+ I was quoted 2xs yesterday. With my free dining extended. Now I just need the flight prices to drop a bit so I can change my flight!
