Hi all. I have a really dumb question. My 180 day mark for adrs is on 3/25( trip 9/21-9/28) What are the odds my choices will already be completely booked up?? My choices are: Le Cellier, Les Chefs de France,Boma, tutto Italia,Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Cape may Cafe.I am pretty flexible on dates of each since I am staying at the BCV. I also like to eat earliest dinner slots available.Thanks.

Calling at 180 days out you should be fine, but try for LeCellier first and be prepared to be flexible.

Nobody can really call ahead of you, so nothing should be filled up on your 180 day mark so long as you call right away in the morning. You'll be calling with everyone else who is looking for the same date.

I agree, you should really focus on getting the Le Cellier first because you may be there during the start of the Food and Wine Festival and it's very busy at that time at Epcot. And Le Cellier is one of the most popular restaurant.

As for the others, I think you'll be fine. Last year we went at the first of October and I was able to get a Cape May Cafe dinner ressie at 3 months out.

When calling in the morning....how early does the ADR number open??
PS, we are on Ohio time (EST). Also...how late at night??

Tho, I will prolly have to get up early on my 180 day, since the day before is Easter sunday.

I think it opens at 7am. Same days we are going last week in Sept. We did that the past 2 years also. Called at 180 days out last year and got every time and restaurant we wanted. The first free DDP we did in 96 didn't book till June so that is when we did are ADR's we got most of what we wanted but Le Cellier was for lunch and some others off times. I think the start of the F & w Fest is Sept 26 so EPCOT gets real busy then, but can use some of the SC credits for food at the booth but I'd rather use it at the Kringla Bakeri (Norway)
Going June also but paying for the DDP

It is possible that some slots are taken for those who did 180 +10 who could overlap onto the days that your trip starts.

You should be fine calling at 180 days for most of the restaurants. For what it's worth, we've gone to Boma numerous times and never had an advanced reservation. The longest we ever had to wait for a table there was no more than 30 minutes, again, without a reservation.

I'm thinking about Le Cellier for our next trip, just not sure if it is kid-friendly enough. Have you been there?

The only restaurant I've ever had trouble really making reservations for is Cinderella's Royal Table, and I ended up just calling from our room the day of and getting into a cancellation spot.

Good luck and enjoy your trip!

What do you mean by kid friendly? Atmosphere wise? We think it's more on the romantic side, but they do have an adorable chocolate "moose" for dessert.

CRT has been easier to get. I got it at my 180 + 10 for lunch with no problems. :)

The reservation line opens at 7am eastern.

Will my then 5 year old and 15 month old be bored there, especially after going to a lot of character restaurants where they can move around and act silly. I wanted to know if this was a more "adult" restaurant. I know it's Disney, but will two excited children be frowned upon in this restaurant?

Nah. I've seen LOTS of kids dine there without a problem. If you're staying on Disney property, you can make ressie 180 days out, plus up to 10 days of your trip, instead of calling back every day 180 days out for the length of your trip. Have you hotel reservation number handy, they ask for it so they're able to do the +10 part. :)

there will be quite a few kids there, so definately no frowning ;)
as to whether they will be bored tho, that's a little difficult. the restaurant is rather dark (hence, "the cellar"), without characters or much visual interest for kids.
do you think they will be able to sit for a while (our dinners at LC are norm about 1 1/2 hours), if you brought something (little toys, etc) to amuse them? or will they be tired, & content to just sit there? (LC is not a good restaurant for kids to be out of their chairs ~ it is norm crowded, with tables somewhat close to one another, & waitstaff constantly carrying items. our last visit, there was a little one (about 3-4 yo) that ran into a waitress, spilling a tray full of sodas on the girl's mom :scared1: ).
you know your kids & their comfort levels best tho ~ enjoy whatever you decide :)
