We are staying at Pop but would like to visit the Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Fort Wilderness while we are there. What are your must see resorts at Disney?

From now on my "must-see" resorts will be the Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and the Beach and Yacht Clubs. :)

The monorail resorts are fun to visit, and also very easy to get to. While you're over at FW, you can also take a quick boat ride over to WL. Definitely worth a look.

DEFINITELY GF!!!! We checked it out on our last trip, and can I just say, it was amazing! The first thing I remember is that you walk in the lobby area from the monorail line and smell fresh flowers!!! There are large urns of flowers everywhere!!! :thumbsup2 The place is so beautiful! Be sure to check it out! Too bad I will never have enough money to stay there!:sad2:

This past trip we made a special trip to see WL. We also made a point of checking out Boardwalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club. We have been wavering on the Deluxe issue this past year so we wanted to check them out. WL is worth the trip over...and you can take the boat from MK which I've heard is a lovely little trip. It is a wonderful resort. It helped us because when we bit the bullet and decided to book a Deluxe for next spring we got the pricing on all of the above + AKL. It was nice to know what we thought of each of them so it was easy for us to pick the middle of the pack and go with WL.
This trip we are going to make a point of visiting AKL!

Ours are the Poly (my fav), CR (both DDs and DH's fav), any of the Boardwalk hotels, and AK.

I guess it is very much a question of personal taste! So go and have a look at the ones that appeal to you the most from looking at pictures. I personally would say AKL (where there is actually a lot to do: see the animals, at night even with night vision goggles, take the culinary tour or the art tour, have a meal, take part in the childresn activities...), WL and Poly. I have never been to any of the Epcot resorts, but would love to check out the Boardwalk on my next trip.

We had never been to the Boardwalk area before and at the end of our trip in 2004 we stopped in to visit all the hotels. We loved the area so much that we stayed at the Yacht this past June and will be trying the Boardwalk Inn in Jan. :dance3:
