I can't remember what CS restaurants we did in the parks last time we were there (Aug 2005) but obviously they were not memorable. With our upcoming trip (January/February 2007), I would like to know what are your Must-Do Counter Service while you are in the World. We will be at all 4 parks (spending 8 days there on DDP). Thanks in advance for your suggestions! :goodvibes

I love Casey's for hotdogs at MK. I am not a big hotdog eater, but darn those hotdogs are good. Or maybe it's just the fact we are at MK and everything seems good.

At AK, Flame Tree BBQ is my favorite. The chicken and ribs are very good. The corn on the cob you get as a side is really good.:)

We really love:

MK- Columbia Harbour House
EP- The Land, Kringla bakery
AK- Flame Tree Barbeque

I can't really say we *love* anything at MGM. It's not horrible, but I can't think of anywhere we are excited to go.

I like Toy Story pizza (at MGM) because it's the only place where I can get a combo that includes a truly vegetarian entree.

Most places have a side (fries or carrots) if you get a burger but won't give the same side with the vegetarian choice.

Pecos Bill in MK used to have a great salad (with or without chicken). But the last time I had it the numerous cheese chunks had been replaced by a small amount of grated cheese thereby significantly decreasing the amount of protein it contains.

We love Flame Tree (terrific baked beans and good ribs!) and Pecos Bill (good burgers, great toppings bar, and very solid fries)

MK--Columbia Harbour House
Epcot--The Tangierine or La Cantina de San Angel
AK--Tusker House
MGM--haven't had a remarkable counter service here

MK - Cosmic Ray's and Casey's

EPCOT - World Showcase: Loutus Blossom Cafe (China)
Future World: Sunshine Seasons

MGM - Rosie's All-American Cafe and Backlot Express

Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree BBQ and Tusker House are both good.

Those are just my person favorites :)

Epcot: Norway, Morocco, and Mexico are all top notch. All have great food and you can sit outside. The view on the lake at Mexico is great. Food in The Land is pretty good, but I find the setting to be like a high school cafeteria. I much prefer sitting outside, especially when coming from weather at home that is not conducive to outside eating.

If El Pirata & El Perico is open in the MK while you're there--GO! It's always closed in September while we're there. The taco salad is great!!

After reading the posts I think I have to add Caseys on at MK. That is a really fun, yummy place!

MK-Columbia Harbor House or Pinnochio Haus (good variety to keep everyone happy)
MGM- We enjoy the pizza outside market area near Beauty and the Beast show. Comes with a nice side salad and we can enjoy the outside weather.
AK-Tusker House, excellent food, and try the chocolate cake!
EPCOT, yea I haven't found a CS there that is good anymore, They closed the pizza place that had the mickey shaped pizzas and spaghetti, We dont care for the different cuisine in the Land now and the Electric Umbrella USED to have AWESOME pretzel bread ham sandwiches, wow they were good, so of course they aren't there anymore, lol.
So we actually make ADRs at Le Cellier for our lunches in Epcot, very good of course.
