Power tools. The occasional home improvement project is novel enough, but I have one neighbor that it is every day. Dude can't replace a light bulb without using an angle grinder.

Today? We have squirrels that got into the soffit and have been running around above our attic. DH is going to use bait to get them out and cover it up. We hear them now, running around. It is unnerving and will probably keep me up. We have some tall, old trees and they usually jump onto the roof but now they have chewed their way in.

A few years back a raccoon got into the soffit. Animal control trapped it and told me they were going to release him or her into the wild but DH told me they would euthanize the animal. I don't want to kill these squirrels. I want to scare them out and then block the entrance.

Donkeys braying

our former neighbors had very annoying donkeys. we found somewhat of a level of enjoyable tolerance for their constant braying by bestowing names on to them so we could scream across the property 'SHUT UP_______________(insert another annoying neighbor's name) STOP MAKING AN @SS OF YOURSELF', 'NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR YOU_________________(insert name of homeowner's association president or his wife) GO BACK TO PLEASURE ISLAND'.

During the day: My upstairs neighbor's tinny radio, which he puts in the window and blasts so loud the whole neighborhood has to listen to it. One time my GPS said I was half a mile away and I could still clearly hear it.

All night: My upstairs neighbor doing something that sounds like he's running a 24-hour bowling alley in his living room.

We used to live on a main road near a major highway intersection with lots of accidents, so same thing, day and night.

I can’t imagine living near donkeys. Sounds fun from here, but I’m sure it can get annoying too!

the 'beep,beep,beep,' of dirt moving machinery in the field next to us. Sometimes hearing the train on the nearby tracks late at night, but we're used to that. Doesn't annoy, just startles sometimes.
