What are the lime green ribbons about?

It'll be easy to spot me . There's a pic of me in my sig . Now just look for that face (sans the wedding attire and beautiful up-do ) surrounded by frizz hair connected to the body wearing the LIME GREEN OFFICIAL DIS FANNY PACK!

You know, I wore this for about 8 days last Oct. on our WDW trip, and I didn't even meet 1 DISer--I hope that changes this year!

The first time I just marched up and stated that I noticed they had a green ribbon and I wondered if they were on the DIS boards. When they looked at me in puzzlement I would start to try to explain but I think that it confused them more. The next few times I would start out something like "Excuse me but I notice you are wearing a lime green ribbon, there are a group of people that I am trying to meet that will be wearinmg these , are you one of them?
After three strikes I gave up approaching but not looking for the elusive green ribbons
