I have been reading some other posts by some highly organized people who have finished packing for trips in a few days. I haven't finished my packing. I have the list from themouseforless.com, but think I must be forgetting something. What are the important things to pack, other than the obvious such as clothes, itineraries and ADRs, books, tickets, backpack, snack items and water (we are driving), camera, autograph book, toiletries? Every time I pack, I am sure I am forgetting something I will really need.

Don't worry! You can always make a purchase down there - it's no fun stressing out about it. :goodvibes

Lots of money (tee hee)!

Any otc medications, band aids, sunscreen. Nail clippers, fingernail file, tweezers, razor, Ziploc bags are great for keeping dirty laundry separate from clean stuff. Extra sunglasses to replace the ones you will lose in Space Mountain...

Alleve, definitely Alleve.

Film or an extra memory stick, and just when you think you've packed enough batteries, pack one extra set (tape them together in the right amount for your camera).

Chargers for cameras and cell phones.

Ditto extra sunglasses (the wife goes through about 3 pairs per trip).

I always recommend getting a Camelback. We both have backpack ones that are awesome. They keep water cold, and there is room for your sundries.

Hydrate or Die

Gum - especially if you're flying (if your ears don't pop easily), Also you can't buy Gum at WDW. (also suckers work well for your ears if you or kids have a problem) (it's probably already on your list, but I had to mention it, 'cause it's such a HUGE thing for me...my ears don't equalize on most flights :( )

Allergy Meds - Alot of people have trouble the first few days their in Florida (or anywhere new for that matter) and a handy OTC Claratin or something can save you a lot of suffering. (and nobody really wants red puffy eyes and noses in their vacation photos:) )

Off! Wipes - Easier than a spray, and won't leak in your luggage or day pack.

Shout Wipes - I always seem to wear at least some of my meal, these are easy to carry about (no leaking) and have saved several of my favorite shirts.

Safety Pins - Easier & smaller than a mending kit and can save the day on the fly.

Zip loc bags -all sizes. I always find a million uses for these, from keeping everything dry (and sand free) in the rain/water rides/water parks, to organizing small things in my bag (Although i am a bit of a compulsive organizer... lol) Plus it tends to make bag checks go easier, especially if security chooses to look indepth at your bag, just pull out a few clear plastic bags and voila - all done.

Small travel/sample size of deodorant carried in your day pack. This isn't a must for everybody, but florida is very hot and VERY humid...I've seen several people (in the restrooms) reappying throughout the day.
