I am working on picking us out a list of counter service restaurants for our trip. Can you tell me which ones are fun and that my kids who are 5 and 2 might enjoy?

Thanks!

I don't generally think of counter service restaurants as "fun," but if you are lucky enough to get a table near the window into Small World in Pinocchio Village Haus, your kids might enjoy watching the Small World boat loading area. Plus it's cutely themed.

Cosmic Rays has an audio-animatronic alien lounge singer.

In Hollywood Studios, Pizza Planet has Toy Story theming and is actually also an arcade (but if you don't want your kids asking for money to play the arcade games, you may want to avoid it).

In Epcot, the Sunshine Seasons food court at least used to have some child "chef" activities. I have no clue if they do anymore though.

In Animal Kingdom, Pizzafari has the most "fun" theming, but Flametree BBQ has outdoor seating, some of it down near the water which can be fun to look at.

there is also pinnochio haus in mk the kids can sit by a window and watch the iasw ride!

Casey's has a baseball theme and you can sit and eat in the "bleachers" and watch cartoons. The hot dogs are yummy too!

My girls love to do this! We also enjoy sitting at flame tree and just watching all the birds and things:)

I think we could enjoy eating anywhere in disney even if it was on a bench with a PBJ sandwich and a can of corn:rotfl2:

Many of the countries in Epcot have neat themed counter service restaurants. Many have seating in and around the pavilions. The Village Haus in MK, Restaurantosaurus in AK, Toy Story Pizza Planet in DHS and Yakatori House in Epcot are among our favorites. Some of the resorts have well-themed counter service locations.

My 4 1/2 year old loves Cosmic Rays, the birds that eat with you at Flaming Tree, Mexico in Epcot (you can sit outside right by the water and eat chips, what more could a kid want) - I can't remember where we've eaten in Hollywood studios... I just remember popcorn! LOL! The places are all fun in different ways!

My girls (3 and 5yrs) just loved Cosmic Rays. Every time we walked past they had to pop in and see if Sunny was there. Of course, he always was. Amazing.

The AllStars food courts have cartoons set up on big TVs, if you wanted to take a food break at a resort.
