Where do you go first at HS?

Where do you go Second?

Where do you go Third?

Does any of this require a Fast pass?

1. TSMM #
2. Get a FP for TSMM#
3. TOT*
4. RNR*

(* if lines exceed 30 minutes, wait until you can obtain FP for these attractions and enjoy a less populated or high capacity show or attraction instead)

(#If standby line is over 30 min when you arrive, get the FP first. If standby line is under 30 mins ride frist, then get FP.
FP's for TSM run out by 12-1PM.)

Have fun!!:thumbsup2

Get a Fast Pass for Toy Story Mania, go on Tower of Terror, get a liquid refreshment and people watch while we decide whats next.

Go to the big chalk board (close to the Brown Derby) to see the show times then head to the Great Movie Ride, then to Star Tours, MV3D, then either the stunt car show or Indiana Jones

Our last few trips to DHS have been just like this:

1. Wait for rope to drop.
2. Get a TSM FP
3. Ride TSM via standby line.
4. Get a coffee and muffin at Writer's Stop.
5. Get second TSM FP at 8:40am (on the dot).
6. Ride TSM via FP line.
7. Work our way around the park with my returning to TSM every two hours (exactly) to obtain additional FPs (until FPs are exhausted).

Rope drop. Get RNRC FP and ride it standby. Head over to ToT and ride standby. Back to RNRC with the FP. Then GMR.

Thanks to all who have replied. I have never been to HS so I am having a hard time figuring out all of the abbreviations for the names of the rides...:confused3 ...maybe I should get on disneys site.

These abbreviations do get a bit overwhelming.

I agree with nenner1:

Rope Drop
Toy Story Midway Mania (TSMM): ride first, then get a fastpass
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (TOT): ride
Rock N Roller Coaster (RNRC): ride
Back to TSMM, or do shows, Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, eat, etc. until your next fastpass time. Then get another for TOT o0r RNRC.

I'd also say to enjoy the atmosphere, see the parade and if you are into those thrill rides (TOT, RNRC), hit them near closing time for shorter waits.

Have fun!

Get to DS at rope drop
TSM get fastpass
TSM
maybe movie ride while waiting for fastpass time
TSM
then I love to do the animator tour and learn to draw a character. People had always mentioned it, but I didn't find it for a long time. I never noticed that area where you wait.:confused3 Now, I want a collection of the drawings, just to remember the visit!

Mostly at DHS, I do the shows. I only do ToT if I'm with someone who "needs" a partner. Don't like RNRC at all!

Bobbi:goodvibes

Well I haven't been since TSM was there so this is what I used to do.
1. Fastpass for RNRC
2. Ride ToT
3. Go do other stuff and ride RNRC at night. :)

What we do:

Grab FP for TSM
Head to RRC, ride Single Rider line
Wander shops, eat, etc until FP time for TSM
Grab FP for ToT

Definitely Tower of Terror and Rock N Rollercoaster first thing! They are right next to each other, both have fast pass. I would get a fast pass for RNR, ride ToT, then ride RNR afterwards.

We have little kids, so no ToT or RnR for us.
We Fp then ride TSM, then hit Playhouse Disney & Voyage of the Little Mermaid; then animation and the Hat for characters

The abbreviations can be tough to figure out at first! I think there is a sticky on the subject ... maybe that would be of help to you! If not, I used to just grab a map of Hollywood Studios and try to match up the abbreviations. :)

On our last trip,
We got there at rope drop
DH ran to get FPs for TSM
The rest of us made our way to TOT and RnR
We walked on TOT and rode RnR in single rider(DH hates these 2 rides)
Then we went to use our FPs at TSM
