I'm almost convinced that I will give the Mummy a shot...but I am a big fraidy cat when it come to drops. I hate them! I'm not afraid I'll fall out, I don't have motion sickness, I just can't stand that dropping sensation on long/steep roller coaster drops. So, my question is, how would you describe the drops on the Mummy, in terms of how they feel? I know it's in the dark, but how steep and long are they? How would you compare them to the drop for Splash Mountain?

Sorry for all the questions, it's just so hard to judge whether I think I can tolerate this ride since I can't see the tracks first!

The biggest drop on Mummy is steeper than Splash Mountain (Mummy = 50 degrees, Splash = 45 degrees), but Mummy's drop is smaller (25ft vs Splash's 50ft). The drops are over quickly, so you have nothing to fear.....except for an angry Mummy bent on stealing your soul...

I don't like drops but I LOVE the mummy. It is now my favorite ride. Have no fear.:D

Dark Marauder- My kids are driving me crazy hoping to see you. Any hints for when we return next year.

I felt more quick turns on the Mummy. Also, the drop and turn section is in the dark so I didn't have that moment of looking at the drop (as on SM) and getting scared before it happened.

The Mummy is very fast though.
