I just looked at the park hours for April (http://themeparks.universalstudios....template=uo_park_hours.html&month=4&year=2004)

Park hours will be 9a-10p, which means MASSIVE crowds. This means 45+ minute wait times, some up to 120+. *hopes you're planning on utilizing express*

The parks hours do not make crowds increase. What I think DM was saying is that because Universal is anticipating large crowds, they are extending the hours.

So if you see longer hours, Universal must know something we don't know about crowd attendance at that time. And larger crowds translates into longer wait times.
