what are the crowds like around December 10th -23rd?

I've tried to use the search function, but it says that it is disabled by someone (the moderator, I think).

I thought I remembered reading that the weeks between Thanksgiving and Xmas were pretty quiet as far as crowds go. Is this accurate?

The crowds are usually light after Thanksgiving weekend ends and up until the kids get out of school. I probably wouldn't go after the 23rd of December. Christmas day is crazy and even worse is the 26th.

I posted something like this a while ago and I think people posted that it actually starts picking up around the 20th.

We were there the 2nd week of December this past year and crowds were not too bad. They were however a lot higher than when we had been going in January. Waits for rides were never too bad but you needed a PS to get into most of the sit down resturants. MVMCP & CP make this a wondeful time of the year to go. Temps were really good for us though a little cooler than Januarys in the past. Overall its a great time. Earlier the better in December.

i agree after the 23rd can get a bit crowded the good thing is on x mas disney is packed but universal and seaworld seems to be less crowded, we will be on our way homw on the 23 going down on the 10-23rd

I'll be the odd man errrrrrr woman out and say I think it will be quiet the 10th-16th. But the evening of the 16th you'll notice quite a bit of an increase in guests checking in the 16th and 17th. Many, many schools will have their last day on Dec. 17th so that will mean a huge increase in guests. Also look at when the last MVMCP is.....that usually brings in a rush of guests too. I know we'll personally be leaving home on the 16th or 17th depending on DH jobsite at that time.
