Sounds like DL keeps adding and/or changing the character meals. What are the available character meals? Where are they located? Cost? I believe you can make PS at 60 days is that correct?

My DD and I are having a girls weekend in November and we are staying at the DL Hotel so we will be eating out every meal and could use some ideas.

Plaza Inn (in DL). It was a breakfast buffet with Minnie and Friends.
Goofy's Kitchen (at Disneyland Hotel) also buffet
Ariel's Grotto (in DCA). I believe lunch and dinner, not sure if a buffet.

I would check the Disneyland Website to verify.

Ariel's Grotto has excellent food and it's lots of fun. Every few minutes the characters come out and kids are given little instruments to play as they play follow the leader with Mickey. The characters also visit your table and you can take pictures with them or snag some autographs. A good number to call is Disney Dining: 1-714-781-3463. They book priority seating up to 60 days in advance.

Hope this helps. :earsboy:

Ariel's Grotto is now a princess meal and they have changed the format a little(less dancing and fun, from what I hear) since changing it. Maybe someone who has been to it as a princess meal can let you know about it. Goofy's Kitchen at DLH has various characters and every once in a while some of the characters come out and the kids can come up and dance around, bang on pans, etc. My boys loved it. There is Storyteller's at GCH that has a character breakfast. And there's a character breakfast with Lilo and Stich and friends at PPH. I just wish they had a Pooh and friend meal, we loved the one at WDW. After all, who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh?

Questions about Goofy's kitchen... Do the characters go table to table? I am wondering if you get autograph and picture opportunity here.

Also, what characters usually appear? I've thought about doing a character breakfast on one of our non-disney days so I'd have to choose btw this one and the Chip and Dale one (ones in hotels).

The Disney web site is not real helpful in telling you which characters usually appear.

ETA: oh dear, I just checked out the prices of Goofy's brunch -- no way my family will pay almost $30 a head for eggs. :rotfl: So... what is the Storytellers breakfast like? Looks like you can order off the menu instead of doing the buffet? This could be a great option for us. Anyone who has done this please share your experience and what characters you saw.

Thanks!

I would appreciate any info on the princess breakfast. My five year old daughter LOVES princesses!

There is no longer a princess breakfast...only princess lunch and Dinner at Ariel's grotto in DCA.
It is a flat price meal of 20.99 for adults and around 15 for kids. It is a 3 course (soup or salad, entree, desert and drinks). We have not been but have reservations 9/16.
