What are the chances?

We're thinking about using our BWV pts next April in either HH or VB. Anyone have any expereince getting these accomodations during a school vacation period when you're dealing with the 7-month reservation window?

What type of villa? There are far more studios and Inn rooms at Vero than anything larger. If that's okay, your chances are good at getting something. If you are looking for a larger unit, it could be harder but not impossible.

We tried last April vacation for a 2 bedroom with no success. We went on the waiting list but still no luck. However, you never know - it doesn't hurt to try.

So, if what I just read about Vero is correct and what I have read previously about Hilton Head, it sounds like the following is true:

Based on the statement "There are far more studios and Inn rooms at Vero than anything larger" that would lead me to think that Vero is a better location for a couple only, no kids trip based on the lack of larger 2 bedroom units.

And

what I have read before about Hilton Head is that there are more 2 bedroom units than anything else and that would lead me to the conclusion that it may be the better location for a family trip.

Does that make sense, anyone have any insight or information to disagree?

We're a family of 5 (two adults three teens) so we'd need the larger unit (or two smaller units) but that would require more points than we'll have available.
