What are the chances?

So we will be staying at Coronado springs during FD this November, and my husband just found out due to his work schedule we will be able to stay an extra day. (YAY!) However, when I look up rooms online Coronado is sold out as well as the value resorts. The only rooms seem to be 500$ a night over at AKL and I don't really have the funds to do that. What are the chances of getting a room added to the end of our stay at this point? (We know we can't add an extra FD night because we would have to rebook the whole package and it probably won't be available.)
So my question is:
What would you suggest as other options? I would really like to stay on property as it's one of the only nights MK doesn't have a Xmas party that week.

Have you looked for available rooms, room only, for just that extra night? You can't add a room night to your existing reservation, but you might find a room and book a separate reservation just for that night.

You don't mention your dates, so I couldn't look for availability.

Try some of the travel sites, Orbitz, Travelocity, Expedia. Of go to Trivago and it will search all the sites for you. Often they have blocks of rooms and you can find something on there. You might have to get one night only and do a split stay, but hey you get to experience another resort.

Sorry we are looking at adding an extra night on November 14th checking out on the Sunday the 15th! If you could help that would be great. I have been looking at room only, I checked hotwire, Orbitz, expedia, priceline all Disney property hotels gone with the exception of the AKL and contemporary.

I haven't tried calling yet because I'm Canadian and it's quite an expensive phone call to sit on hold so that will be my last option.

Not sure if you are flying or what time your flight is. You could always check out on the 14th and have bell services hold your luggage. Go to the parks and head over that night to the Hyatt at the airport. Spend the night there and then fly home the next day. This is a bit of a pain, but could possibly work for you.

I don't stay over another night but I do this with the train and leave on the last possible train out. It's not horrible to have to head back to the resorts for your bags and then jump into a cab.

we ran into this problem as well, i just couldn't find any way to book 1 extra night in november. we are taking a late dme back to airport on our last night on property, and taking a shuttle to another hotel off site. you could also check into renting a dvc for one night possibly. have a great time!!

There have been all kinds of threads that include this date and not being able to find reservations. Most are look for 1 or 2 days before and leaving the day after or the next. If you do a day by day, it looks like 11/14/15 is booked solid.
