What are the chances of a Dec 09 visit?

Since we are new to DVC just wanted to check what are chances of any availability at AKV around the first few days of Dec? TIA

due to low point costs and amazing decorations, early december is one of the peak seasons for DVC. you never know with kidani adding more capacity and the crummy economy, but i'd bet it's not very likely to have availability.

Well I called today and couldn't get in at AKV but was able to get a studio at SSR so we are excited!

Congratulations! You were lucky to get December at this later date. SSR is a very nice resort, and I am sure you will have a great time!

Congrats for getting something this close to December! I agree that you should waitlist for AKV. You never know...you might get it anyway!

I say never give up if it is something you really want to do. We have always been lucky and for the most part gotten what we wanted. Be willing to stay in different resorts too!

That's encouraging! DH and I are looking for something for the first part of Dec too! DH's birthday is the 7th and we were hoping to get to make it a birthday/Christmas event for us. No luck yet, but I will keep trying!

We have a 2bd sav view for 5 days in early December, been WL'd for VWL for several months with no luck, if WL does not come through I think we are going to cancel as we were just there for 15 days in June. So here's a question, I have to bank 09 pts currently allocated to my Dec ressie before the end of September (feb UY) can I cancel and bank in one call or is there a waiting period after I cancel?
