What are the chances? Early Check into POP CENTURY?

What are the chances of an early check into POP?

Im curious because our plane lands in Orlando at 10:45am we will have been up since 3:30am and i think we need a little nap before setting out to do much....

We have a little girl almost 3 and she more then likely wont sleep on the plane because she is miss nosey and doesnt like to miss a thing!
Soooo it would be great if she (us too) could take little cat nap then do DTD and a charactor meal as the neginning of our VACATION!!!!!!!

Anyone ever got in early then check in and if so how early?

It depends when you are going. If its this summer I would not count on it.

we went last Feb. and we arrived @ Pop around 1:00 and we didn't get to check in until 3:00. We went to the gift shop and went to the food court to get our mugs. We sat in the parking lot until we could ck in. My husband called the frt desk every 15 mins. to see if we could get in but no such luck.

You will be able to check in. Your room may not be ready. If you don't have any requests you could ask if there are any cleaned rooms ready at that time. You would be able to get a nap in and then head off to explore.

I think it may depend on the time of year. When I went in Sept. we were able to get our room around 10am. I stayed at All-Star Music in May and we were able to get the room around 9am.

A couple of weeks ago we checked in at 9 am and our room was ready for us.

We were at Pop Century the last week of May. We walked off our plane just after 10 am and were checked in and standing in our room by 11 am. LOL You might get really lucky and your room will already be ready. Good luck!! Rebecca

In Jan, we were there at 11:30, one of our connecting rooms was ready.
I think the less requests you have, the better chance of getting a room

I've checked in as early as 10AM and that was June 11. WE were able to get into room but it wasn't in section we had wanted. I have never had to wait for room at Pop.

We have been able to check in around 11:00-12:00 each time we went to Pop. There was never a problem and the rooms were ready each time.

We checked into the POP & got our room @ 11:30am last July!
It's a "hit or miss" thing!

I think requests do have a lot to do with it.

My experience is that 90% of the time my room is ready before 3. The other 10% we are doing good if it's ready at 3.

When we stayed at the Boardwalk in Septmeber of 2003, our plane landed at around 9:00 am, and by the time we got there, before 10:00, our room was ready! Guess it just depends on when you're going, and just a little bit of luck.

According to another poster they are giving room assignment preference to the ones coming using ME. If you're using ME your chances are a lot better in getting a room when you get there because they seem to be assigning by the CM's at the airport when you check in with the Welcome Center. I hope this is true because I'll be using ME also this July.

Can someone confirm this? This doesn't work good for us at all. We will be taking a limo from the airport to POP this trip because on our last trip in 2002, I booked a limo and there was mix up on our return trip to the airport. As a result, the driver is giving us a complimentary round-trip limo ride for our October trip. I don't want to give up the limo, but I don't want to be treated differently at the resort because I'm not using ME either.

We are driving down, and will be arriving around 10am or earlier in early September...I sure hope that our room is ready, if not we will check in and hit the parks anyway, thanks for the good advice on this thread...

We checked in on the 11th of June as well. We got there about 12:45 and were in our room right away.

We always arrive early to our resort, but the room has only been ready at check-in one time (Poly at about 8am). AKL room was ready at 10:30am. The longest wait was at POR and WL. We waited until 3pm.
On our last trip, we were so exhausted, but headed to MGM to kill time. We went to the Little Mermaid show, and I slept through the entire thing!
