What are the best types of bags to carry your things in at the park?

I was wondering what everyone carries their stuff around in while at the parks. I have brought back packs before but is there something better or smaller than this??

I use a mini back pack that I have had for years. Since its just FH and I when we hit the parks it works just fine for us. It fits my camera, a wallet, our ponchos and a bottle of water if we really squeeze it in.

I also carry a small backpack. I've used a fanny pack, but prefer the backpack because it holds more.

What do you do with a back pack on rides? Say you're on Space Mountain or RNR? Do you take it on the ride? Where do you put it? I'll be with my two nieces, 8 and 10, and I normally on carry a fanny pack, but I may need something bigger.

I use an Ameribag Healthy Back Bag (ameribag.com, ebags.com, llbean.com).

They come in various sizes and work well for me.

This past trip I bought some lanyards at Staples and some plastic see through cosmetic bags at Walmart. They have ziplocks like baggies so keep everything dry...even on Kali!

I fit in my cell phone, id, money, passes, etc. and hung around my neck. Didn't have to go thru the bag search. It worked great!

I bought assorted sizes and ended up leaving my cell phone in the room some days and using a smaller one.

Much better.

Yes, I take it on the rides with me. Usually I put it on the floor of the ride, between my legs, or hold on my lap.

There has only been two times I couldn't take it on a ride. Kraken at Sea World and Hulk at Islands of Adventure. They had lockers, located at the ride, to put them in.

I put my backpack on the floor and I generally put one leg through one of the straps if it's a roller coaster that goes upsidedown, otherwise I just hold it with my hands.

I have used a small backpack and also what I call a backsack (those bags with pull strings to close) Both worked really well, and didn't weigh me down.

The only thing I DID notice, is it made me hotter - atleast my back. Other than that, whenever I got on a ride, I would wrap the straps around my legs and then put my foot on the floor. Never lost it!!

However, I tried that with our mister bottle, and it broke - really upset me, but I guess next time I will be a bit smarter!

We try to do it with just a fanny pack. Hate lugging around a lot of stuff!

I have a Sak brand backpack. It is really more like a purse. It is very stylish and lightweight. I can fit a lot of stuff if I need to. I don't like to take more than I need to so I don't get weighed down. DH just uses his pockets.
