Can someone who's done the 7 day Eastern Carribean cruise tell me what some of your favorite exursions were? My husband and I are both 25 with no kids and this will be our 3rd Disney Cruise but only our first 7 day. Anyone done the submarine exursion? What about the tours? We were a little unsure about the tours because on the 3 day when we did the "scenic historic tour of the Bahamas", the guides took us to rough areas and just begged for tips the entire time and it wasn't all that great. What are our best bets?

I recommend the Golden Eagle Catamaran in St Maarten. We had a blast on this excursion- it was worth every penny to us. The crew was excellant and I didn't mind the tip at the end. They didn't really even ask for the tip they just had a bucket for tip $.

I have done the sub in Grand Cayman, and I know it is the same thing on the eastern, just a different location. This was very enjoyable, and it would be something that you could do, and still have a big chunk of time left for your day...

Hi SC Minnie. One of these days i need to send you electronic copies of the dinner pictures and parasailing!

Absolutely my favorite excursion of all time is the 12-metre regatta in St. Maarten, where you get to race America's Cup yachts. VERY fun, especially if you enjoy sailing, and fun even if you've never sailed before. :)

We did the sub couple of weeks ago and we thought it was great and like a
previous reply said do it first thing in morning and you have rest of day in
St Thomas. We went to Coki beach after sub ride and it was nice snorkeling
beach. Think the taxi was $6 p/p each way. We also did the butterfly farm
in St. Martin and that was interesting. We also did Pinel Island snorkeling
and we not impressed with that. The regatta sailboat ride sounds like more
fun. Also if you haven't gone to St Johns snorkeling in trunk bay thats really
nice... Hope this helps. Gary

The cable car ride in St. Thomas is amazing & just a short walk from the ship. The view is fantastic & it's a great place to relax & look out over the beautiful port (and at some of the fantastic homes!) while sipping a tropical drink. There are some shops & a bird show as well.

You can take one of the taxis to the top but the cable car offers a better view IMHO.
