We will be in Orlando from Saturday, Jan. 4th through Saturday, Jan. 11th.
We plan to spend two days of the trip in US/IOA. We have NEVER been to either US or IOA.
I am wondering if any days are better than others in terms of crowds, activities, characters?
I just received the DIS newsletter, it states the Grinchmas will be through Jan. 5th. I am thinking maybe we should go on Sunday as to not to miss this.
Any suggestions, planning ideas or websites I can visit would be greatly appreciated.

Sundays and Mondays are the least crowded. Saturdays seem the most crowded.

We went last year during the second week of January and all of the parks were not crowded at all. We went to IOA and US on a Monday and the parks were deserted.

Are there any days that aren't jammed packed??? Or am I asking for too much to hope for??? :)

Do we really need two full days to see both IOA and US? We will be in Orlando Jan. 4th through Jan. 11th.
Thanks,

Hi Figment - you and I think alike! ;)

I've been to US/IOA once and we did use two days. Now, we had 2 - 12 year old boys with us who had to do absolutely everything they saw in IOA. However, over in Universal I think we went on maybe 3-4 attractions. Personally I enjoyed IOA more than US.

So I'm wondering if I can't get everything done in one day next year, and spend the remainder of my trip on site at WDW.

Now if you've never been to US/IOA you may just need two days to take everything in. It's really a great place!!
