What are the Best Counter Service Restaurants?

We will be eating counter service meals for lunch and was wondering which places in each park have the best food and largest meals. I heard about one that offers a ribeye steak, I think. I am just trying to figure out which ones to try out. We will be on the dining plan so price does not matter. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Colombia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom has great meals, as does Electric Umbrella in Epcot, but I love the takeout fish/chips from the U.k pavillion in World Showcase also.
Not alot of selection for cs at Hollywood studios really, I'd just have something at your resort that day we only do Mama Melrose there.
I forgot about Flametree BBQ at Animal kingdom the food there is really great also!

At MK - Columbia Harbor House, at AK - Flame Tree BBQ, at Epcot - Sunshine Seasons at the Land, and the Studios - no where - we walked to the BW and had a great sandwich at the Bakery. Some have said that Starring Roles at the Studios has sandwiches that are good but they don't have alot and can run out.

MK- Cosmic Rays (Chicken/Ribs Combo w/ mashed potatoes and gravy) and Pecos Bills (Cheeseburgers w/ Fries)

Epcot- Electric Umbrella (Chicken Sandwich)

DHS- Backlot Express (Cheeseburger w/ Fries)

AK- Pizzafari (Pepperoni Pizza or Hot Italian Sandwich)

I have heard Earl of Sandwich and Wolf Gang Puck's Express are both good, but are at DTD. How long does it take to get there from each park, is it worth to go there for the food? Is there a place with Ribeyes, I may be confusing it with cosmic rays chicken/ribs combo.

We LOVE earl of Sandwich..... it's amazing.
A must do for us at least twice a trip.

We love Columbia Harbor House and Pecos Bill's in MK (we haven't tried Cosmic Ray's, which is another favorite).

We LOVE Tangierine Cage in Morocco Pavillion and Yorkshire Fish Shop in UK in Epcot. Sunshine Seasons has good variety in Future World.

Flame Tree BBQ in AK is yummy.

We don't love the food in HS (except Brown Derby), but Toy Story Pizza Planet was pleasantly surprising for our tastes.

Wolf Gang Puck Express in DTD is AWESOME!!

I have heard Earl of Sandwich and Wolf Gang Puck's Express are both good, but are at DTD. How long does it take to get there from each park, is it worth to go there for the food? Is there a place with Ribeyes, I may be confusing it with cosmic rays chicken/ribs combo.

Both of those are terrific--for my money, some of the best food in Disney. However, getting there can be a pain, because park buses do not go directly to DTD. The easiest is probably the MK, where you can quickly walk to the Poly/Contemporary and take the bus from there to DTD. If you are driving, it is five to ten minutes.

In the parks, we have always loved the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. Yum.

I think for the ribeye, you might be thinking of the CS at Coronado Springs Resort, Pepper Market.

Our favorites in each park:
MK: Columnia Harbor House and Casey's for hot dogs
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, the fish counter at UK, and Tangierine Cafe in Morrocco (excellent shawarma platters)
AK: Flame Tree
DHS: We really like the ABC Commisary. I never understand why so many don't like it.

MK - Columbia Harbor House is great. The Lighthouse Sandwich is my favorite but I love the chowder and fish 'n chips too.

AK - Pizzafari is decent but I also really like just getting the cheese plate and some fruit from Harambe fruit market.

DHS - Starring Rolls has good sandwiches, bagels etc. I like to go to Sci-Fi though for a burger (veggie).

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons for a California Roll or a tasty salad, the Fish 'n Chips in the UK are delicious too.

Loved Wolfgang Puck in Downtown Disney

Have to add--Golden Outpost (across from Pecos Bill's) in Frontierland--had the chicken flatbread and the kids and DH had the chicken Sandwiches REALLY good. You can easily split the meals here!! I ate about 1/4 of my flatbread and was stuffed.

Another vote for Flame Tree -- I think it's hands-down the best CS on property.

DTD- Earl of Sandwhich. FANTASTIC! Got to try the grilled cheese and grilled peanut butter and Jelly
Wolf Gang Puck Express.

AK- Flame Tree Bar b Q. Great food, big portions. However, do feel weird eating on great bar b q while in the middle of an animal park. ?!?!

Epcot- For coffe and sweet tooth Norway, Espresso, and skol bread

MK- we like to take a break, go to resorts and try different unique foods not found in parks.

MK: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland...the HUGEST selection...I can't beleve pp's put "peco's bills" in front of Cosmic.... Cosmic waaay out does Peco's....I have NOT tried Columbia Harbour House... Cosmic - YES - with great Chicken Platter w/ mashed potatoes green beans and cake - choice of carrot cake or chocolate....DH & I COULD have split a plate....


EPCOT: Sunshine Seasons in The Land is like a Mall Food Courtyard..the Hugest selection. America as my second choice.

DHS: Sunset Market has the Best selection....it is near ToT and RnR...and includes several choices.....The Italian Sub was terrific....

Columbia Harbour House in MK is good and I always eat at Norway's Kringla in Epcot. I love the French bakery in Epcot too.
