We have kids who will stay up late...is it worth it to wait until later in the evening to do certain rides and not waste time in line during the day?

We did Spring Break/Easter weekend last year and the crowds were unbelievable! :scared1: Yes, IMO do the long-lined rides late in the evening. If you have seen the fireworks on one day, do rides on the other days during the fireworks. A lot of rides may not even have a line at that time. You can do a lot of rides after the fireworks if you have an idea of what you want to ride on and where it is located. Don't forget to get fastpasses during the day and use them later in the day. It saves a huge amount of time in line. Have fun!

Does anyone know when Spring Break for most of CA is? Easter falls in March this year and I was curious if it then meant an early Spring Break for the schools.

AZ and some California schools are 2nd week of March. Many schools are week before and after easter. Oregon is always last week of March and WA is first Week of April. So busy all through March 8th - mid April. The first week in April is the winner on the poll currently.

The UC System has Spring Break for the week of March 22nd. If you go that week, expect to see thousands of college students.

I know for a fact that there are three people going separately during that week, and that's only knowing a minuscule percentage of UCSB.

Be ready for long lines from opening to closing.

Still, the experience of Disneyland is still worth it. I know that I'm going into crazy Spring Break season, but I'm still excited. :earsboy:

I agree...we went during WA spring break last year {mar 28-Apr 8} and the lines were UNBELIEVABLE!!!:scared1: so I would recommend FAST PASS as much as possible and if you are willing the skip the fireworks, the lines are a little better then...also, if you can do early entry, I would HIGHLY recommend that...we rode quite a bit before the actual park opened...enjoy!

I will be going during this years Spring break. Can someone please translate what "UNBELIEVABLE" means?

60 min lines?

90 min lines?

120+ min lines?

Here is a good guideline of Spring Break times

We're there from 5th April and expect it to be busy, but get quieter as the weeks go by. Disneyland is open until 11pm most nights, so to me, that means they are expecting a lot of people!

We were in WDW in 2006 late Feb-early March. I was unaware of what Spring Break was (we're from the UK) when I booked. We noticed the crowds got heavier each week. The amazing Tower of Terror ride had a 10-15 minute wait in Feb, but rose to 90 minutes on 15th March.

The golden rule to avoid theme parks is, get there when it opens!
