What are some things you can do in DHS on a super crowded day?

For the most part, I really like the schedule that I have in place for the week before Easter. There is just 1 afternoon that I am not nuts about. We will be spending 1 afternoon (1p-5p) in DHS. We will be using 3 fastpasses during this time, so I know we will have those if nothing else .....but what are some other things we can do in this park on an extremely crowded day? Any tips, tricks, or overlooked attractions?

The performers on the street are IMO, the most overlooked attraction. If we go to HS late in the day or as our second park we spend a good deal of time enjoying the slapstick humor of these wonderful performers and mix it up with shows. Yes, you may need to wait to get in for shows, but One Mans Dream is one of DD's favorites. You'll need to check the show times to see if you can work it in with your FP's. That has been our biggest challenge. Mulch Sweat and Shears are also great if you're milling about between attractions, if you time it right.

Mulch, Sweat & Shears definitely if you can catch them! After all our trips, we finally saw them last month. They are awesome :goodvibes My DS8 loved them so much, we made sure to catch them another 3x during our trip. I even got picked to play the cowbell with them LOL.

Don't forget Animation Academy. On a crowded day you may have to get there at least 20 min. early (a new class starts about every half hour) but its lots of fun and in the A/C.

Love Mulch, Sweat & Shears. You can get the schedule for them and other performers at http://wdwent.com/index.htm . Just look for the drop down menu at the top (it is small) and it will take you to the Hollywood Studio's listing.

What times are your FPs for?

Are you kidding me? Shows, shows, shows. Get your headliners in in the morning and watch shows all afternoon. They can pack thousands of people into Lights Motor Action and at least hundreds into Beauty and the Beast. You have Indiana Jones and American Idol.

With 3 Fp+ within a four hour time period, you'll only have time for short shows or experiences. If you did your first Fp+ as soon as the window opened and the second Fp+ at the end of its window, you can fit in a show... Maybe Lights, Motor, Action.

You can also watch Jedi Training Academy from the patio area of Backlot Express.
