Just wondering.

what have you done or heard people have done to make there vaca, extra special or Romantic?

You could watch Wishes from the beach at the Poly.

Or arrange to have a nice dinner at Narcoossee's during Wishes. You can watch it from the deck at the restaurant.

Linger at the closing of MK to let most of the crowd leave and then enjoy a "quiet" stroll down Main Street as you leave.

I suprised my fiance with the a segway tour around Epcot. He absolutely LOVED it. If you schedule it early AM- you get to ride around Epcot's world showcase on segways with a tour guide and only 8 other people. You learn really interesting things about the countries.

I also suprised my fiance with a Dine with an Imagineer lunch at the Hollywood Brown Derby @ MGM. You dine with one imagineer and a group of people. Depending upon who your imagineer is, it can be really cool. We had the head architect for Tower of Terror eat with us. It was cool!

Another idea would be eating at Artist Point and catching the boat back to MK during the fireworks. I think the boat may stop when the fireworks are going so people can watch them on the lake.

Ft Wilderness and I believe other resorts have horse drawn carriage rides...I can't imagine anything more romantic than that..I agree also with fireworks on the beach at Poly, or strolling any of the resort beaches late at night is always nice.

Talk about Mr. Romantic :thumbsup2
And where were you back in 2003 before I had to sign "the contract"

Peggys Sweets and more now offers room decorating. I think that would be a great surprise!

I don't know how romantic it would be but we did a special surprise for our future daughter-in-law through Gifts of a Lifetime. They have a website and many different ideas. My only regret was that my daughter-in-law told EVERYONE about it afterwards so I can't hardly do it for anyone else now!!! I know they've done things for marriage proposals so I'm sure they have some romantic ideas up their sleeves.

Also, dinner at Victoria and Alberts is very romantic. The place is small, probably only about a dozen tables, no children, excellent food. It feels very private. There are only two seatings each night for dinner so it is very relaxed and unhurried.

Loved going to Narcossees during Wishes, and Shula's at the Dolphin is a great romantic place to dine by candlelight.. Also love the late night boat ride from POFQ to DTD. But I think my best memory was when DH and I went to WDW for our 25th anniv. trip, and on the first night we dined at LeCellier, afterwards we walked the World and found a nice glass of wine....So when the fireworks started and the lights went down...I got to watch the show with my best friend's arms wrapped around me int the whole world..in the world). Then we stayed as late as possible just walking hand in hand thru the torch lit pathways around the world.
