Hi everyone!

We're travelling in August with our son who will only be about 20 months at the time. I gone to Disney many times before, however, this was before there was a dining plan so we used to eat either off property, at our food court in our hotel, or a few of our favorites spread out throughout some of the parks. However, now that I have the dining plan, I want to try some new places. Can you suggest some places that I should definitely try? The places I've been before were Crystal Palace, Sci-Fi, 50's PrimeTime, Chef Mickey's, and WCC. What other places can you suggest-ESPECIALLY with an toddler.

Thanks!

I really enjoy Ohana for breakfast! The characters are fun and the food is fantastic!! Actually, Ohana for dinner is supposed to be fun for kiddos too, although your little guy might not be old enough for coconut races!!

We always do Sci Fi when we are at Hollywood Studios. Also at DHS is Hollywood and Vine. They do a Playhouse Disney character meal as well. I know the little crowd in particular enjoys this!

Last year we discovered 1900 Park Fair at the Grand Floridan! We were thrilled with the experience beginning to end! The food was absolutely wonderful and the character interaction was hilarious!! It may be lost on your little guy, but the step sisters are so funny! It's very kid friendly! My husband and I are doing a trip in June and to my surprise HE requested an ADR for 1900 Park Fair! That says A LOT for the food as my hubby is a bit of a food snob and very picky!:lovestruc HE normally doesn't enjoy buffets and without the kids being with us I was VERY surprised at this request!

As for kid friendly and not so much food fab...The Garden Grill was enjoyed very much by my step kids. Mickey and friends are in farmer outfits and the restaurant spins (usually) as you eat. Not fast enough to make you ill of course! It's very subtle. I've heard that Garden Grill may not be lasting much longer and I think they are only doing dinner now? Anyhow...the food is nothing to write home about but it's okay.

ummm...Oh...Cape May Cafe has a fun breakfast with characters...Goofy and Mickey and the gang...in beach gear I think.

that's all my brain is giving me at the moment! Enjoy your trip!!!:goodvibes

We did Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare and the Askerhaus Princess breakfast. My niece loved them all. We also did Coral Reef and were seated next to the tank, which she also liked.

First, keep in mind that every restaurant will have "normal" kids food. Boma and Tusker Hosue are my favorite restaurants and while the food is a bit out of the ordinary for some kids they have a kids station with chicken nuggets and mac and cheese.

I second a PP that mentioned Garden Grill. The characters are great and when the restaurant rotates to the prarie scene of the ride I think they will have fun watching the boats go by.

Must do:
*Dinner in Epcot the very first night....a new place every time, this year we will try Chef's :goodvibes

*Breakfast at Crystal Palace :thumbsup2

*Chef Mickey's which we will take anytime we can get a ressie

California Grill. I'd almost sooner not go to WDW if we can't eat at Cali Grill.

I have a list of must do, Cal Grill, Sci-Fi, Brown Derby, Flying Fish, Beaches & Cream, the take out Fish & Chips (it so hot right out or the fryer) but we never seem to make it back because there is so much we have yet to discover. There is a list of places I won't go back to also.

We always have breakfast at the Crystal Palace, lunch at the Kona Cafe and dinner at Flying Fish, California Grill and Teppan Edo.

The Garden Grill is my number one must do. Cape May was added to the list after our last trip. I think any character meal would be great for your family.

Others that are must dos for us that may not be soemthing for your family are Teppan Edo and Yak & Yeti.
