What are some interesting things to do at Pop Century Resort that you have enjoyed and experienced?

I'll be at Pop Century Resort in a standard room in June for my birthday and retirement.

I haven't been to Pop Century Resort in many years, but I am familiar with some of the things that I would like to do at the two resorts.

I'll enjoy touring the resorts. Maybe relax by the pool. I'll dine at their food courts. Attend activities for adults.

But I would like to find out what others have done and enjoyed during their visits to help plan for my vacation

I have two questions.

1. Could you tell me your experiences that you enjoyed at Pop Century Resort while visiting. I would be interested in your experiences and fun things to do. Thank you in advance. Ray

2. Is there a link to the daily activities or events. I can't remember what it is called. I want to try and plan my days.

We just recently stayed at Pop and although we didn’t have much time at the resort I’ll try to give you some ideas. I just started pin trading this year so talking with the staff and trading pins in the gift shop was tons of fun! My niece and her mom got a charicature done and they enjoyed that. We liked walking to art of animation for lunch to have some different food options. We didn’t have time for it, but they have an art class at art of animation that sounds fun.

The resort is very neat and clean. When the sun shines on all the giant icons it looks like you are in one of the official Disney vacation planning videos

Well, this isn't an official activity at the resort but I quite enjoyed just taking a stroll around the different buildings and looking at how guests have their room windows decorated. A lot of the guests decorate the room windows at this resort, especially around the holidays. I was there close to Halloween.

A long time ago, when I used to go in December, I used to decorate my window with Christmas decorations. I liked looking at the other decorations on doors and windows, too.

I like to just stroll around the resort and by the lake and across the bridge and tour Animator's resort, too.

I was at Pop during Irma last September and had lots of fun wandering around the resort taking in all the larger than life characters!

Congratulations on your retirement!

We found the wildlife at Pop pretty amazing. Giant turtles in the lake, all sorts of birds, rabbits, armadillo, etc.

I guess you can get that at any Disney resort, but we walked the Memory Lane path often and ran into all manner of critters.

My favorite location there was lakeside on the 4th floor of Building 4. If that location has the new rooms, I highly recommend it. Great views yet peaceful.

I am celebrating my retirement and 70th birthday at WDW in Sept, solo at Pop for a few days then meeting friends. Perfect retirement gift for ourselves.
