what are our chances?

We currently have reservations at our home resort, SSR, for 11/29-12/4. We would like to switch to BWV, and have been successful so far in switching nights for 11/29, 12/1 and 12/2. We are waitlisted for 11/30 and 12/3, and there are no cash rooms available for either night(as of now). This is only our 2nd time using our points, and we are unsure how long we should give the waitlist, or just switch everything back to SSR. We are good with switching resorts part-way through the trip, but not having that Sunday is killing us! Realistically, what are our chances of getting 3 nights together? Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

I assume that you do not have enough points to keep both reservations until 31 days out. In that case I would call MS periodically to see how much inventory is available at SSR for your dates. It is entirely possible that eventually all inventory will be gone for those dates. If you call MS and they tell you that the SSR rooms are almost booked, I would then switch back to SSR rather than take a chance. Until that happens you might as well keep your fingers crossed that the waitlist will come through. Good luck! Whatever happens you will be at WDW at my favorite time!

People do cancel and reservations can change. I would call MS and check on the wait list once in a while. Several DISers have reported their wait list magically coming through while on the phone with MS.
