What are my chances

Planning on a family trip for 9 people Sept 2014. Hoping to book at AKV Value 2 bed at the 7 month mark. Do these villas book up quick?

Unless one of your party is under 3 you will not be able to book a value 2 bedroom for 9 people. They do not have the extra sleeping space and MS is strict with that booking. September is a slower time of year if it is between Labor Day and the start food and wine and so you will have a better chance than other times of the year.

We are looking at Sept 20-26. I was not aware that the 9th person had to be under 3. we have a 4 year old in our party. Back to the drawing board. Thanks for the info

all AKV 2BRs (besides the value villas) sleep 9. well, it's probably tight but occupancy rules allow it.

the nice thing about kidani 2BRs (compared to those at jambo house) is that they also have 3 bathrooms instead of the usual 2. the "standard" rooms are cheaper as they may have a parking lot view.

Thank you for the feedback, as you can probably tell I am a newbie to DVC.
I think it might work for us. Will definitely consider staying at the Kidani 2bed villa. Many thanks to all who have replied
