what are my chances?

Just wondering what my chances are, we are going to Walt Disney World June 23 July 1, but leaving early am July 1. What are my chances of getting on Pitates? I can't believe it will be closed while we are there, it's always our first ride we go on when we get to the parks and the last ride before we leave. I hear conflicting things that ot will be open June 30 and another that it will open July1 and I also read but I think it was a joke that you can walk through the ride since it's drained. Any one out there no anything more? thanks Jill

it's supposed to reopen for the easter crowds briefly and then shut back down for the major refurbs. that's all I've heard.

I will be there the week before you and I have literally been praying that it will be opened. Every trip that I have taken to Disney, I have always done Pirates. I would hate to actually have to miss it.

you have a 0 percent chance. it will be closed at our arival and will not open til the 7th. They are going to makea big deal about it on that date since it corisponds to the movie release. Rumors are that certain members of the movie will be making an apperance. They have frequently been visiting getting the lay of the land.

you don't even think they will have a soft opening? anyone also hear that you can walk through without the water? well maybe I'll run into spme of the cast while there. jill

I couldn't picture them letting people walk through the ride. Plus, they would have a hard time refurbishing it if people were walking through everyday.
