What are my chances for Chef Mickey?

I tried to call last night for reservations for the week of May 6th - 11...either breakfast or dinner. No luck. So, here's my question...what are my chances for walk in?

That week might be a little crowded, being Mother's Day is on the 13th, so if I were you, I would try calling everyday. As someone else has said on a different thread, it doesn't hurt to nag a little.

I would just keep trying. In May 05 we stayed at the CR for 5 days and I tried to get in for breakfast or dinner everyday but there wasnt any openings. We finally got in for dinner in Oct 06 and the food was nasty

I don't know if they have changed things since I did this, but a couple of years ago, I tried unsuccessfully to get dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fare. I thought we would try anyway. We arrived when they opened for dinner and were able to be seated right away. It was an early dinner, but it was better than not going at all.

i went to CM dinner at opening in sept 05 and i watched multiple walkup families being turned away, even being as instructed as far as to go down to the concierge desk and make ADRs.

I am sure CM is more popular than 1900 PF. That is probably the difference. Keep calling. Once I was only able to get CM reservations at around 9 pm, which is too late for my kids. I kept calling and was able to get a more reasonable time about a week before my trip. People do cancel.
