What are my chances?[B][/B]

We have a contract in for a resale...if all goes well, it should close by EARLY DEC.

I have a business trip scheduled for FEB, in Orlando. We'd like to tack on some days of vacation at the end.

My question is this: What are my chances of actually getting DVC room for FEB, if I cannot book until December?

Any ideas?

depends what resort you want, you really shouldnt have a problem booking a studio for that time frame. If you are looking at a 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom you might have some issues, but it never hurts to call and ask when those points become available to you. Saratoga Springs and boardwalk typically always have availability. We live in orlando and do a lot of last minute bookings for nice weekend getaways.

It depends on when you are going in February. We are going 18-24 and they are pretty booked that week. I tried to move our room around and the only resorts that had anything was Saratoga Springs and possibly Old Key West. Good Luck!!

Unfortunately, we ARE looking for that timeframe...16-21 FEB.

We have booked some ADRs, Hoop Dee Doo, and the Africa Trek, so I REALLY need pixie dust that SOMETHING will be available...don't even care what at this point, as long as we have a place to stay!!!

Might be worth it to book a room at a value or moderate so that you have something and then cancel after you get your DVC reservation.

You never know. I've scored rooms on short notice. Even at my preferred resort.

I just rearranged my Feb trip last week, and was able to get a studio for 3 nights from the 21st to the 24th. They also had a few other resorts open.

By December, it might be a bit tougher, but you just never know. I didn't expect to find room but was happy that one was available.
