We are just under 1 month to go and have been trying for the last 60 days to make all our ADRs. We have everything we wanted except for Ohana. We have been trying for March 8th and there just isn't anything available. I can't understand since all crowd forecasts seem to be pretty quiet that week. So my question is if we try for an early dinner around 5pm what are my chances of getting a table without a reservation? Thanks.

Chances are very good. We never make ADR's there and just go early and wait til a line starts forming, go up, put our name in and they hand us a pager and we are seated very promptly. We do this because we (1) like to dine early (2) don't like to be tied down to a certain day but whenever we're in the mood ;) Has never failed us yet - now we are only a party of two, that might make some difference, don't really know :goodvibes

Best advice: keep trying! Sometimes there's a little pixie dust in the air and you're able to snag that last reservation that seems impossible.

Walk-up seating can be great one day and nil the next. In October, while checking in for breakfast, a family of 4 inquired about being seated as a walk-up. I didn't hear what the CM said but within minutes of us being seated they were seated next to us. A half hour later 'Ohana was packed to the beams.

Our friends did just that last April and it worked for their party of six. I would just get there early, maybe 4:30. Even if you don't get in, there are other options right there like Kona that you could try. Also the sushi bar there is good. Good luck!

Keep trying!!!! Look online everyday and if that doesn't work out, get there early and line up.

I just got an ADR for 'Ohana at 8 PM mid March for my Mom and I.

Something just opened up today! :cool1:

It is a slower time in Disney, but it is also Free dining. So many people who will be there are eating at TS restaurants. Ohana is in high demand. With that said I'd keep trying, and I'd especially check a couple days before. Ohana is a CC guarantee now, so I doubt walk ups are as easy, but I would bet that 2 days before there would be some openings

Keep trying! I have been trying for over a month as well to snag a reservation at O'hana's on March 7th, I was checking everyday, and just last week low and behold there was one! So keep checking!

That's why I suggested being there before the restaurant opened, after that I would not even try. We have never been turned away early:), I was told (off the record by a CM at a restaurant there) that they only reserve x amount of seating and save some for walk-ups. It has worked for us every time and we've done this for several years - but as I said, a party of 2, and only when the restaurant opens for the meal we want. Also, now that they have the penalty for "no-shows", sometimes reservations open up closer to time.

Try several times a day. I checked one morning and came up with nothing. Went to work, that night when I got home I checked again. I was able to snag an ADR for 4 people at 5:30 lest than 30 days out.
