Hello

We leave Saturday for our magical vacation :cool1: and I was wondering, besides packing, what else do I need to do? Do I need to call anywhere to verify anything? I'm just drawing a blank. And I'm sorry if there is a thread like this already, I just couldn't find it. Thanks

Take all of your dining ressies confirmation numbers, all other confirmation #, phone # of resort, dining etc. Also, your doctor and drug store #. Stop your mail and newspapers..have neighbors check on your house:) And one LAST thing...enjoy every moment of every day:) If need be, keep a journal:) Take lots of pictures:)Don't forget your camera, and if need be, camera charger and phone charger:) Have a great and magical time:)

I agree, make sure to bring you confirmation numbers and then DEFINITELY bring a camera, extra memory cards and batteries is a very good idea as well. A small investment, but nothing is worse then getting 3/4 through your day and realizing you only have a little battery power left... (i've been there which is how i know!)

Otherwise, enjoy!!

Yes, extra memory cards and batteries are a must investment to fully record the happy time. ;)

Good thread. I will be checking back to see what the dis-experts say. We leave this Saturday as well!
:woohoo:

ETA Two things I have done this week: online check-in & pre-ordering photopass.

Charge EVERYTHING-- phones, cameras, iPods. Finalize packing lists and pack, double checking the night before you leave to make sure you have everything you need.
I also make index cards for every day of the trip, with intended park and ADR confirmation numbers written on them.
Basically, just double check everything you have. Lay out everyone's ID's if driving. If you can check in online, definitely do so and print boarding passes. If you're flying on an airline that charges for bags (Delta, Continental-- basically anyone EXCEPT for Southwest and JetBlue), pay for your bags online in advance!! Most companies will let you do so-- and you'll even save a dollar or two per bag, usually.

If you have troubles with your ears while flying, don't forget sudafed. I also needed pain reliever/fever reducer (tylenol or sudafed) and forgot to pack. Also, moleskin for blisters was a lifesaver and allowed for more walking!!
