What are good requests for POR?

What can I request to ensure a great stay. Non smoking and I like the mansion rooms, what else????

We found Magnolia Terrace to be nice. It wasn't a too long walk to the main bus stop (we never used the closer one since we usually left right after breakfast), or to the main pool or the food court. I've even stayed in AB and been waaaay out back and found it to be incredibly relaxing and a nice walk. Have fun.

Maybe location will help you decide. Sorry I can't be of more help, but my trip isn't until January, so I don't have any firsthand experience.

I stayed in OakManor during my stay in September. I stayed in one of the "wings" on the first floor which was non-smoking. Some of the rooms in that building are smoking but they must be higher up or in the main building, but I am not certain. All the rooms in the area I was in were non smoking.
Oak Manor is a nice location, close to the bridge that goes to the main building, food court etc. The bridge to the main pool is not to far from where I was located. There was a quiet pool between OakManor and Parterre Place and a bus stop close by at Magnolia Terrace.
If you want to be close to the main building either Oak Manor or Parterre Place are good locations. If you want to be closer to the main pool Magnolia Terrace or Acadian House are good locations.
It is a beautiful resort, the walk from Oak Manor to the main building or the main pool was just a matter of moments.
All of the Mansions seem to be in a good area for access to everything.
