I was just reading the menu at 50's Prime Time and the drink menu listed a few items with "electric ice cubes" or something like that. What are they, can anyone tell me? Can you only get them at 50's Prime Time?

Thanks

My two got these when we were there last week...they're actually plastic ice cubes with a tiny light on the inside of them. I believe you can choose red, green, blue and...? The red was very bright and vibrant, the green not so much.

DH discovered that you can turn them on and off by tapping them on a hard surface, there are directions on the bottom of cubes.

50's Prime Time was the only place we saw them though you might find them somewhere else. My two DS's loved them.

Annoying, that's what they are.:) But seriously...they are fun for the kids. I just wish the parents would stop them after the 14th bang on the table!!!!! Get a room full of kids doing this and it's nerve-wracking!!

Ahh, but the secret is to not tell the kids how to make them work! Mine have no idea and haven't gotten their hands on them (if they're clever enough to read an ice cube). Fortunately we haven't experienced any banging...at least of the ice cube variety.

My DS5 begged for the special drink and I agreed without asking the price...I think it was $5.99. Three weeks after the trip, we have no idea where that cube is!:)

you can buy these electric ice cubes at target stores..... i think they are around $5.99 for a set of 4

On our last visit, we ate at the Sci-Fi Cafe, and the kids got them there in their drinks.

They also have them at the Coral Reef and in the drinks that they're selling at Fantasmic. (It's really cool outside in the dark.) My son just said he wanted to return to the Sci-Fi to eat and dummy me thought it was because he liked the themeing so much. No. He says it's because he wants to go back to get the ice cubes!! He's 16!!
