What are "Distressed Points"?

I just read a post on the rent/trade board and someone said thhey needed points or distressed points. What are "distressed points"?

Distressed points would be points that have limitations. Such as holding account points, reservation points (points that were booked outside of DVC, then cancelled), points about to expire. You can usually rent distressed points cheaper because the owner wants to get rid of them quick.
