What are Crocs?

I haven't seen them in the UK, but I've worked out that Crocs are some type of comfortable shoe.
Can someone tell me:
What they are like?
Why they are so good?
Whether there are styles available for men and women?
Where I can get them near WDW?

Crocs are essentially a clog. They have a strap on them that can be used around the heel, or left over the clog vamp.

They come in many colors and are unisex.

You can get them in any number of places including the Orlando airport!

They are wicked comfortable, but some folks find them wicked ugly too!

There are other styles besides the basic clog, but not a wide variety.

They are a very unusual shoe, they are boarder line ugly, they are a very light weight plastic/rubber material That I hope I can find to fit my very unusual, ugly big Fred Flintstone shaped feet.

They are supposed to be great on the feet
